The process took way too long. From the loan specialist to the lender, it seemed either they were lacking the experience or they had to large of a work load to give the appropriate attention.

Even though we are eternally grateful for everything VU did, there are areas of concern. This process from the time we found the house until we were notified of being able to purchase took approximately 90 days. This was very treacherous and had hospitalizing effects on me. As a veteran who is suffering from PTSD and unable to manage stress well I strongly feel that there has to be a better and faster way to help veterans who respond without hesitation when called upon.
Just be prepared to furnish data and backup data to support loan request and application. Also, be sure to respond exactly to what they are requesting- nothing more or nothing less.
Very please at how quick it all was done.
