The trouble with VA loans is that the underwriters are way too picky about some things which delays the closing. They need to work with Veteran buyers on waivers and let them decide what repairs they want to handle on their own. Out buildings should be an automatic waiver unless they are a health and safety issue. The VA also needs to consider the moving process better and help Vets get moved, even pay for expenses for service-connected buyers with health problems. It felt like the VA never considered my health issues which made it super hard on me to move.

Highly recommend to any veteran, especially getting their first home. The process is a long one, but they've got it streamlined to make it very simple and easy on your end making sure you get your home when you need. The staff is great to work with and they will even work with you after closing and even when you want to sell your home. Overall great experience.
