For a company named Veterans United, you all seemed woefully unprepared to handle or explain the rigors of a VA loan, the timeframes necessary or the process itself. At every turn there was a new seemingly unexpected hurdle to cross. I didn't feel you all the level of expertise necessary to handlemy loan.

Although our experience was not entirely negative, I was disappointed with how much we had to initiate in terms of maintaining consistent communication, thorough explanations of costs and applicable changes, processes involved in closing esp. related to rate locking and how the changes were impacted by worldly events, timing, etc. This being our first time buying a home, I expected more from Veteran's United to make the process less strenuous by offering more guidance throughout. That didn't happen, which is why we are not likely to recommended the company to others in the future.
The staff was very informative and efficient in processing our refi loan.
