Everyone was incredibly prompt in responding to me and that was great. I did feel as though there was a lot of back and forth with negotiating down the loan numbers etc. I felt that this was a bit like buying a used car. Also, when I asked about reducing the car at closing because my insurance and taxes had already been paid for the next year, I was told that it can't be reduced because VU needed to pay it and then I would be reimbursed from the carrier. Eventually, my cash at closing was reduced and I was told that this one time, they were able to do it. I hope that this circuitous route is not utilized for everyone's money. If my insurance premium was paid with my money, then why in the world would it need to be paid again?
From start to finish it was very easy, very good communication and an excellent experience.
Ashley Khederian Senior Loan Officer.....is the real deal. Most certainly embodies the role of providing and demonstrating customer service AND satisfaction. She has been my wife and I go to through this whole process. She has made the process easy and always is timely with communication and feed back. If I were her boss she would be getting a raise or a promotion. Just saying.....however to be fair....everyone we have dealt with through the process at Veterans United Home Loans has been great. We are very much appreciative to all. God bless.
Very knowledgeable concerning VA loans.
Veterans United hold true integrity as a company, and truly care about their customers.
Everything was smooth and accurate. Steve and his team were very professional and knowledgable. Steve was available every time I called him with a million questions to ask. He walked me thru the entire process step by step. Outstanding service as a loan officer

Although Daniel kept me abreast of everything,I recommend prioritizing needed documents at the beginning of the process and not ask for documents more than once. This process was stressful, long, and an emotional rollercoaster. It took over 2 months to close and I've spoke with a couple of folks who recently either bought or sold property using a VA representative; neither took over 6 weeks from start to finish. I am grateful to have been able to purchase the home I wanted and I than you all that made this happen.
VU did really swell!
A great experience!
Kalo went out of her way to find find somebody to come out and do our home inspection pretty much on a Moments notice which I've heard nothing but horror stories about that part of getting a VA loan also the home inspection was actually really really not that hard to get done and everything that the inspector pointed out was easy to fix and it was literally took the homeowners like a week to get everything fixed so that we could get in our new home, I've heard nothing but horror stories about that aspect of VA loans also The paperwork was not at all that hard to sign is about as much paperwork as he would sign for buying a new car the only thing I seen that was mildly be a pain in the butt with the VA was the back-and-forth but you know with any big amount of money you're dealing with are going to be doing a whole lot of back-and-forth
Derrek and Krista made the whole ordeal very manageable and easy to do. Even with the circumstances that my wife and I had. Always professional
