I had a great experience buying my first home with Veterans United. The whole process can be quite overwhelming, but they made it super easy by walking me through every step and answering any questions I had, Thank you Justin Darr and the whole team who helped me through the process. I normally dont write reviews unless I had a very terrible experience with that person or company, but in this case, I MUST make an exception.....Jeff Ferguson and his team was totally outstanding. From the moment Jeff and I spoke on the phone his professionalism and his character was revealed. Jeff did not talk at me, he talked to me, and that was after he listened to me. He spoke to me as if he and I were neighbors who see each other everyday and have conversations. And even though I qualified for a home loan with Veterans United, Jeff still gave me good advise on continuing to raise my credit score.
Im the type of person who is detailed and 'hands on.' I ask a lot of questions. I want to be involved in 'everything.' I want to know 'everything.' And I want to know everything when I want to know it. Even though the information is not available 'at that time,' I still want to know it 'at that time.' Jeff was super patient and very understanding. Not one time did he make me feel as if I was frustrating him or bothering him.
And then after all of that, his knowledge and detailed explanation of the entire process and the documents was outstanding.
I have to also mention Cole who I also spoke with a lot, and his professionalism and customer service was also amazing.
I honestly cant speak about any of the other Loan Officers at Veterans United, but I can certainly speak about Jeff Ferguson and his team. And they are awesome.
I have had such an amazing experience ! My team assisted me with the preapproval process by making suggestions on how I can increase my score. Once I was where I needed to be the rest of my team hit the ground running. Found my home and they had me in that home by day 33. It's my first home buying experience so naturally I had a ton of questions, my team answered promptly and with such grace and respect that allowed me to feel safe enough to come to them with anything. They kept me in the loop every step of the way, they communicated with my agent to also ensure she was also informed. They have accommodated and ensured my comfort throughout the home buying experience.
