My wife, Leuanne, and I have had the pleasure of working with Brian Flanagan and Tanner Smith in connection with our original Veterans United VA loan and, most recently, the refinancing. Brian and Tanner demonstrated that they are not only highly competent and quintessential professionals, but also men that have a genuine interest in serving veterans. Brian, in particular, has bent over backwards to answer our questions and work through the challenges we encountered. Leuanne and I had several alternatives for refinancing, but we chose Veterans United because of our trusted relationship with Brian, Tanner and their staff. We consider Brian to be a friend as well as our loan officer.

At first I was skeptical about Veterans United. However, I knew retired (Lt.Col) and resident funny man Rob Riggle was on their side so I decided to give them a shot. One of the best decisions we have made. They found a way for me get my forever home and now lowering my rate...for free! (the lowering the rate part) For my previous loan I had a well known credit union handle it. Never again. I will be using Veterans United from here on out.

They were all very patient and kept me informed on any of the processes and questions I had.
I have not had a good experience refinancing as I am now at a point where I no longer have flood insurance as the loan process got drug out until my flood insurance expired and veterans united cancelled the escrow payment to renew the flood insurance. When I called to get this corrected I was passed back and forth between their insurance dept and their escrow dept and told that the original escrow was closed so they couldn't help me I was then placed on hold where they disconnected the phone call on me.
