The process was very long, cumbersome and sometimes frustrating. I would prefer a lender in my area that I could meet with and form a face-to-face relationship. A local agent may have eliminated some to the back and forth emails and very lengthy closing process.

Everyone I ever spoke to, from the operators to Mr. Long and everyone in between were the dictionary definition of professional. Mr. Long's team were a godsend and hands down the absolute best customer service I've ever had. I will and have recommended Veterans United to fellow Veterans.

Did a great job on keeping the closing on track and we actually closed 5 days early.
The beginning of the process was great. I was contacted right away and the guy was very informative and helpful. I did like the convenience of the online feature, and appreciated the ability to look at, upload, and sign my documents. The time I started to dislike the process was when my initial loan was not locked in at the low rate I was quoted, and it was only after I initiated a phone call that my rate was locked in at a higher rate than the one I was led to believe was going to be locked in for me. Likewise, it does not appear that my rate would have been locked in at this higher rate, causing an even higher one, if I would not have called in and asked about it. I get that rates fluxuate; however, my rate was not locked in for several weeks after the loan process had began. Then, when I went to sign, at the time my loan office told me to be there, the documents were not there, so I had to go back to my hotel, after travelling 24 hours to get there on time, and wait two hours till my documents were corrected. Once I signed my documents I found out that the Title Company needed a cashier's check, something nobody told me, so I had to go do that as well.
