I feel like they really really look out for veterans
It's the longest process I've ever gone through. They kept changing our closing date. It was hard to contact anyone. Our closing costs and monthly payments were constantly changed.
The stated their was no funds require for the refinance and then they took the escrow funds and applied it to pay down the principal without my knowledge. They also force you to create a new account even if you already have an account login from you old loan. So you now have to create a new account and login to see the dashboard.
Matt and his team where perfect, we did not have any issues throughout the entire process.

Since this was our first VA loan, we were looking for more guidance on how to do things. We didn't feel like we got all of the help we needed. For example, my husband had a hard time with my biz and we received a guide but it wasn't like what he was seeing. Fortunately, the admin at his worked figured it out for him. There are different sites for each branch of the service. Our loan specialist never told us this.

First home my wife and I bought, and the whole process was a major headache. Many unanswered questions and we were taken for just under $10,000! The point of us using the VA was for the 0 down. Phone calls were rarely answered and when messages were left, calls were rarely returned. Still waiting for a call back on why my closing cost change MULTIPLE times within the last 48 hours of closing. Started off i was getting $4700 back, and 24 hours later, I owed 3 different amounts all over $2200. The final amount came a day after closing and was $150 more than the previous amount. Left messages with 2 VA personnel and no calls were returned.
