I found late in the process that done key steps were not completed by the original loan officer (who actually left the company a week into the loan process). It forced me to be a little more involved than I planned but we bounced back from it and overall the experience was good.

Emails and electronic document signing has its purpose, the gold standard should be phone and in person communication. This would have decreased the confusion and anxiety felt on my part. When my dissatisfaction was voiced, the team lead and members reacted with concern to address the issue and created a resolution.
