Chris Primmer needs a raise. He was very helpful and answered any questions I had during the process.
Buying your first home is nerve racking, but the team we worked with from Veterans United, John and Beau, were amazing and made the experience of buying our first home enjoyable.
I am very pleased with Veterans United and will recommend you to anyone I know who is looking to buy a home.
I'm so pleased to have such a great group of professionals standing in my corner during this process. They were very punctual and promt on returning emails and phone calls. My family is soexcited to be home owners. And that makes me a very proud father and husband. I'm in aww on how well this company and Shanna and Nick worked so hard for me to help me and provide this service.

Angelia was very helpful in me buying a home. I give my criteria on the home I wanted and I was amaze on how fast she found me the home I wanted
I just want to thank all of you for the work that you have done for me over the last couple of months. I honestly could not have expected a better experience. The amount of professionalism and dedication that you all have displayed is second to none. Having worked previously at USAA I know what it is like to work for an organization that serves veterans. Working in a credit union today I know what it is like to work with people on a daily basis. Each of you have been incredibly attentive and focused and I know that you have many other people that you are working with each day. I really feel like I received an extremely high level of personalized service. Every single promise that you made in our first call was honored by the team and they communicated everything in a very honest and straightforward manner.
Thank you all - I could not possibly have anticipated the level of service you guys provided and I am very happy that I responded to Tom's phone call from my online inquiry.
Thanks again and I wish nothing but the best for you and your team.
We would love to say and give out a Very Big Thank You to all who helped with our loan.
I want to sincerely thank everyone; the entire Team, at Veterans United for their efforts and support. We can now find the peace of mind and stability in knowing that this home is ours (and the Lord's) It's been a long haul but well worth the effort. I've thought about this whole process during the last few weeks, and I haven't exactly been the easiest client to deal with! This situation, not due to any fault of Veterans United, but by the nature of circumstances themselves, has manifested some of my own fears and insecurities. This loan was extremely important to me for several very real reasons. In my panic I chose words and actions that could have been much more constructive. Todd Kangas DID communicate, quite clearly! There was not one time that he didn't have a positive tone to his voice. Yes, there was silence at times; but for good reason. Todd was working on some very negative situations in order to turn them into a positive outcome and he was successful. I clearly remember asking Todd one day if, "This bird is going to fly?!" and his answer to me was, "Yes, absolutely". Sometimes after all the dust has settled it's easier to see the sunshine that was there all the time, merely covered by the clouds. I really believe that Todd took a punch, when it should have been a hand shake and a "Thank You". I did have a heart attack just before the closing. On my 67th birthday, in fact, and It was absolutely NOT caused by Todd, or Veterans United, or the difficult loan process, in my case but rather due to a large build up of plaque behind the stint in my left main Aorta artery. That was very likely because a Doctor had taken me off my Cholesterol medication when my Cholesterol readings were relatively high and my triglycerides were exceedingly high. My birthday present was that I'm alive, and my second present is the Mortgage closed successfully, thanks to Todd Kangas and the folks at Veterans United, and I do Thank You! . . .
They helped out a lot and busted there butts but there were a lot of miss communication between the bank, the title office and myself. I was always finding out last minute and when they said they would call they never did till after it was already done.
I wish I had started with VU. Glad I switched to VU. Don't make my mistake. Go with VU from the start.
A great experience, thank you!
The real estate agent assign me by your organization failed to fully understand the type home I was seeking. However I found an agent who showed me homes during our first meeting that was more in line with what I was looking for when it came to lot size and square footage
