Overall experience has been great and Tom was great through-out my experience.
Awesome experience. Closed well before the 30/45 day timeline. Always answered or responded right back. This was the easiest and quickest experience ever. Even our real estate agent said they never had a house close as quick as ours did. We even switched lenders (started out with another company then went to VU) this is our 2nd time using our va benefits and I'm hoping this is our forever home but would use them again and recommend to all our military friends. As long as you have all your documents ready and return them back in as quick as you received them then can have an awesome experience like us.
Lindsay and Amy were very professional and kept things moving along quickly.
Our entire team was amazing and accomadating every step of the way. Being first time home buyers, the process seemed so overwhelming, but our team reassured us time and time again.

Dawn and her team are fantastic to work with!! We appreciate all of their efforts in helping us become home owners.
This is my 2nd home purchase either VU and they once again have surpassed expectations!!!! Top notch!!
Excellent customer service from all who were involved, Jon, Kendall, and Kenna. Every time I needed help such as clarification on something they were very quick and concise with an answer. Thanks again and I would definetly recommend a friend based on this alone.

They were amazing!!! Everyone was extremely kind and helpful whenever I had questions or needed anything. They also went above and beyond what a normal business does for people.
Will be recommending Veteran's United to ALL of our military friends.
This company admires the service of the veteran & desires to assist the veteran & his family into the home of their choice, with unwavering service.
The first part seemed great, they sad they could get me a VA loan with nothing down and a great rate. I explained that I had never applied for a VA loan and was not sure I was eligible. They said if I was in the military I was eligible. Unconvinced, I told the VU representative that we were in the market for a second home and that our primary residence would continue to be our current residence in another state. The VU rep said that was not a problem and that we would still be eligible for the VA loan. I was skeptical and applied with a second mortgage company to get preapproved for a conventional loan before searching for a house. Both VU(Veterans United) and the other lender came back almost immediately after checking our credit and income with approvals. We began the house search and the process continued. Almost on a weekly basis new requirements came up from the underwriters resulting in many hours of research and distractions from the house hunting task. After several weeks of home searching and seemingly endless requests for IRS transcripts and bank statements and IRA statements and a copy of my DD214, we were informed, as I suspected all along, we were told that we were not eligible for the VA loan and would have to go conventional. At that point, I was ready to switch to the other lender but my wife and our real estate agent convinced me to stick with VU instead of starting midstream with the second lender.
Best lenders we went with. We were working with an awesome loan specialist that helped us throughout the process in a timely manner, but he had a family emergency around closing time, so we got transferred to another loan specialist that wasn't that great. Everything was pretty much good to go for closing and we encountered a hiccup towards the end that made our closing time a week late.
