Overall, my experience with Veterans United was not smooth and rather frustrating. I will be refinancing in the near future and they will not be my lenders.

There was one person at your company who was not helpful at all. If I called with a question she did not return my calls. She cause a big delay in closing. If Angelica had not stepped in I think that I would have back out of the whole process. I do not remember her name but Angelica will. She was the only one who was very rude when I did talk to her and she would not answer questions. Only Angelica and Tiffany did for her. She does not need to work there.
The best loan experience I have ever had buying a home. Very knowledgeable. Will always answer your questions in no time at all. From step one until closing mark Reid and his team were awesome. Veterans United was easy to work with and our loan officer was great, however the rates are not very competitive compared to other military banking institutions. At time the rates were 0.5-0.75% higher. I would suggest either lowering your rates or allowing for a re-lock if rates drop after the initial lock. In the volatile market we currently are in this will help keep customers and truly allow the lowest rates for the customer.
As a first time homebuyer, it is extremely overwhelming. After requesting for a quote, Veterans United quickly gave us representatives and checklists to complete to make it much simpler to attaining that goal. Each member was great at following/checking up on the progress, answering questions, and walking through each step. We could not have done gotten a place without such a great team at Veterans United!
