Everyone that I've dealt with at Veterans United was pleasant, knowledgeable, efficient, and most of all, very compassionate to my situation. When I had concerns, I was gotten back to within minutes with an answer. I don't think I could have gotten two better loan specialists than Ted and Caleb. They both helped me a lot during what could have been a very stressful step in my life.
Ellie did a great job addressing our concerns and keeping us informed on what was going on with the loan process.
This sounds sappy , but there are not words to tell you how great this group is and how great they make the experience. They take great pride in the job they do and they do it very well. I have already given their name to my neighbor. If you ever need a recommendation, let us know. At the end of this experience, I feel as if they are friends. After the loan was closed, they called to congratulate us and wish us well. We love the insurance company they said they have used. That was also done very nicely. No pressure , just something we might check out. They are perfection in action.
Keep doing whatever you are doing to make happy employees.

Overall, couldn't be happier.
I couldn't be more pleased with Veterans United. You should take great pride in your service and your entire team!
With a lot of experiences with Mortgage companies in the past, I thought I knew good service. I didn't. Not until I was teamed up with Luke and Amber. My wife is in the mortgage business and because of the reviews and services provided, we decided to use VU over her company, or our current Wells Fargo. Compared to other companies, Luke and Amber's response time was amazing. Luke tackled any issues head on. Amber was so quick with responses, we praised her to others. I have no complaints. My wife has no complaints. That is rare. Something always goes wrong when we are closing on a house. Not this time. Everyone was on their game, and that never happens. I really want to thank Luke for making me feel like I did not have to use VU. That I had a choice. He just made it the best choice! Amber was very amazing too. Please award them both for such great service. 7 loans in my 40 years, and this was the best one yet!
My overall journey was great & I am so satisfied!!
As a result to an oversight in some child support paperwork, I am literally a month late on moving into my house. I started school today over 70 miles away - full time, my house is still an utter mess and God knows when it will be acceptable for company to come over, and I need to build my greenhouse and move a lot of money's worth of investment in my plants into THEIR home before winter hits and kills them. I am beyond physically exhausted, I am not mentally prepared for this school year, and I am overwhelmed with a massive mountain of things that need to get done and time has run out for me in which I was hoping to take care of in the month I should have had to move in. This oversight may prove to be extremely costly to me. I was not able to move immediately into my house upon closing because I have had dealings with the law and have had many hoops I have had to jump and am STILL presently jumping through. Which is why I was looking forward to my closing date of the 22 of August! I never dreamed in a million freaking years this process would have EVER have taken as long as it did. I don't give a damn about what happened in the past for things to get this bureaucratic; make it easier, this was ridiculous for both me AND my poor seller! The only reason I would EVER recommend Veteran's United is because my life experience has proven to me that I ought to be graceful in treating others the way I would want to be treated, thus, giving people a second chance. Would I use Veteran's Home Loans again, pro-bab-ly not. Would I recommend Veteran's Home Loans to someone else? Sure, because they may have a much better experience than I did. But I will most definitely share with them what happened to me and emphasize to them that I would hope this would not discourage them from giving you a try.
I was not totally please with First American Title Co. When they learned there was a lien on my house for the pre-paid solar panels I was given the task of removing the lien. After I spoke with the solar company they informed me I was not the person to handle this and took action to straighten out this issue.
I was also unaware in Arizona that at closing you do not received any equity check until after the papers are signed, recorded, and money released. This is the first time that has happen to me in a closing. When I sold prior homes I received my check at closing. In prior refinancing closing I also received my equity check. I even had a closing at my work and received my check. I did close at my home and Matt clearly explained the process of First American Title after I questioned him.
Matt was great to work with and everything when smoothly until the Title company stepped in. Working with the VA is also not an easy process.
Thank you Veterans United!!
Both Amanda Park and Michelle Modtland must be among your very best employees. I am 70 years old and have had a lot of life experience including a 40 year senior management career in Wall Street commercial banking. Never have I encountered 2 more pleasant, more competent, more thorough individual in any personal or financial transactions. Whatever you are paying them ain't enough!
I am very blessed to have this opportunity to have my own home. A place I can call my own. A place to have my kids grow happy.
Our real estate agent was better than outstanding. She helped us out a great deal with educating on home buying process.
very professional, i highly recommend Jon McCarty's team to anyone who is interested in buying a home.
They all worked very well together and smoothly to get everything needed for all the paperwork, in a quickly , calm manner.
When you work with professionals, the experience becomes much less stressful. Veterans seeking a home loan are usually very disciplined in step by step procedures (military life will do that) and Veterans United Home Loans ensured I understood each step of the process. My loan specialist (Nathan Groves) always made me feel comfortable and informed. I know the backing he had from the management team made his job easier. I salute everyone!
The crew that works behind closed doors; I can tell they worked extremely hard for fast and accurate results. They obviously show great collaboration, knowledge, and skill for the trade! I'm very proud for the service they gave me!
