Again, and it seems I'm just repeating myself, but Ryan and Stefanie were not only breathtakingly professional, but caring, compassionate and ready to step and do whatever it took, as long as it took, to ensure every expectation I had was exceeded. They truly made me feel special. And in today's business world, that is the exception rather than the rule.

I would say that I began this process with the intent of gaining pre-approval to eliminate any issues further into the process. This failed to be the case as during the last hours of the closing, there was an unnecessary delay in return once all paperwork was signed.

I understand that we closed under the thirty day period, we should have had no issues at that point and the delay created undue stress on an event that should be void of any at that time.

I would have rather had an office visit rather than conducting this effort on the phone or through endless emails that gave no sense of security or piece of mind with the information being exchanged.

This is the third home I have purchased through a VA funding guarantee and by far the most stressful we have experienced and happy this will be that last. Not sure of where the issues were rooted, myself, realtor, loan officer of Veterans United, however, I do believe the process could be improved.

After all of the work Bill did on my file alone he deserves a promotion, a bonus, an all expense paid vacation or at the least a fancy award....

I would never use anyone else for a home loan and I always recommend VU to all my veteran friends. My nephew recently got a loan through VU on our recommendation. We tried using another lending institution before our first experience with VU and it was a nightmare of epic proportions. I thank you for your wonderful assistance in our home buying experience and commitment to veterans!

Our realtor was accommodating for our showings, but was extremely hard to get a hold of. If something needed to be done on our part, we had to contact our lender to get that information. Our realtor never kept us up to date on anything. We had to contact him, because he never kept us in the loop.
