I had to pay 1750$ out of pocket to fix Sam’s mistake. There were plenty of apologies but absolutely no offer to compensate myself and my wife for our troubles. Sam did not communicate to the title company that my wife was not a US citizen and it nearly caused the deal to fall through on the day of closing.

First time home buyer, wasn’t sure when down payment discussions would begin so thought I’d be asked but never was. Late to be discussed and when I communicated my desire to put forth a down payment, the incorrect down payment was in the paperwork and didn’t want to cause more delays so accepted the amount because it wasn’t much different. Would recommend putting that in a checklist to confirm if down payment is desired and how much earlier in the process.


Overall experience was amazing!! Everyone did all they could to make sure that we closed on our target date and answered every question that I had in a timely manner. Thank you for all the hard work Matt and his team.
