I and a terrible loan officer with OVM one year ago and it eventually led to us not building our dream home, so anyone can imagine my apprehension when we started on the home buying venture. It was an extremely bitter sweet experience starting out because I really wanted to build the perfect home, not buy someone else's. I have to say, by the end of what was literally the easiest purchase I've ever made, I am all smiles. VU took one of the most disappointing let down moments in my life and made it the success I'm cylurrently bragging to everyone about. We found, negotiated and purchased a house in barely a months time. From start to finish, I am ecstatic to say, that we made one of the best decisions of our life and it was to trust VU with the homebuyimg process.

From the very beginning of my home buying journey, Veteran's United was to notch. I received a nice surprise in the form of a welcome package with some swag. My loan officer made the pre-approval process easy. There was minimal documentation required and they were simple to upload. The team at Veterans United made themselves available after hours and even on weekends whenever I had a question or needed a cost sheet to submit an offer. It's a tough market for Veteran home buyers and even when it was recommended that I use a "local" lender instead of VU, I saw that VU's customer service was head and shoulders above the rest. Other lender's could not even come close the the money that VU saved me on closing costs. There were no last minute surprises or hidden costs. The realtors and title agent even commented at closing that they were very impressed with the VU team and that the communication was excellent. I'm so glad I chose Veterans United and highly recommend them!
