This is not my first home purchase so I knew some of what to expect. That said- it was by far the easiest buying experience I’ve ever had. The app was easy to navigate and Erinn and Shelbi were fantastic. I would rate 11 of 10 if I could. Everything was quick to turn around, questions answered, and I felt I had a cheering squad in the background. Great team- can’t say thank you enough.

Underwriting was stressful asking for irrelevant information impossible to obtain causing me nocturnal panic attacks. Kat was awesome but Meghan seemed to not be caught up leaving me confused as to what was going on despite me staying on top of what was be asked of us.

Everything went very well overall. I really appreciated the ease of the process and everyone's friendliness. The only problem I had was the final closing documents that I had to sign online for some reason, and for some reason they weren't available until I was already on the road for 20 hours heading to my house. If those documents were so important to sign, then why did it take so long for them to be delivered to me or why couldn't I sign them at closing. Which is pretty much what happened anyways. That was a very small issue, but that is why I didn't give a 10/10.
The whole process felt so much easier than the past home loans we have gotten. VU took care of everything! We are extremely happy having them guide us in our home purchase. Would definitely recommend to my veteran friends and will contact our representative for our future home purchases.
