The Veteran's United Home Loan center, and the team I was working with, could have been a lot more informative and helpful. A lot of the time we didn't really know what was going on, communication was poor, and there was so many different people that I constantly had to be in contact with. It was very overwhelming, and I feel that they could have been a lot more helpful and taken some of the load off from our shoulders. They also tended to lose documents that we sent, forcing us to re-send and consume even more of our time. I personally know some active duty members who have used the VA loan while active, and it seemed to take no effort on their part at all. So I'm wondering if we had such a hard time because I recently changed over to Veteran status instead of active duty.
Sam and Samantha were an incredible help to me. They made this process far easier than I expected. Seeing other friends and family buy homes made me feel like it was going to be a pain. But they made it fast and simple. They stayed in great contact with me and answered anything I had questions about very quickly. I am definitely referring all my friends to them.
