We had not purchased an existing home in 25 years; our last home was built and there is a big difference. Also, times and rules have changed and I cannot say enough about how the combination of technology and people made us feel as if VU was with use every step of the day. There was give and take across the board and we are so very happy with our new home, which was purchased as our retirement home, we are grateful and thankful. Will recommend you to anyone who asks. For the most part it was a great experience working with Veterans United. Celina and Lindsay were a great team and made sure that everything went smoothly. My one criticism is that the underwriters should ask for all the information up front not piecemeal or there should be at least some notification that they need new information. There were times when I thought I had everything in and then I would get a message from Lindsay saying there's been something in my VU to-do list for days. Other than that great!
