I had the most awesome team for our first time home buying experience. Brittany Kendall, Kara Lee, and Alea Schuyler. My husband was mostly out of the area while they helped me navigate the waters of all that needed to be done. They even kept me giggling as we traveled across multiple states to our new home in San Antonio. I felt very at ease and comfortable from the start of the home loan process and even after. I loved how they checked up that everything went smoothly our first night in the house. If you are moving to the San Antonio area. I hope you get lucky enough to have the team i had also. I am 42 years old and this is my third home that I've purchased. I distinctly remember back on 2004 when I bought my first home I was active duty military and sought a VA loan for my initial purchase. I remember the experience with the bank offering the loan at the time was overwhelming and seemed as if I had to jump through a massive amount of hoops so I went with a conventional loan. That VA loan experience 18 years ago had such an impact that With this current home purchase I almost didn't want to deal with another VA loan. When I contacted Kara and the team at Veterans United I felt at ease from the moment I read her email response. This has been an absolute pleasure and I would highly recommend her and Veterans United. Honestly, was very new to this whole home buying experience. At first it seemed like a lot of pressure on my back but this whole team working as one made it the easiest was it could possibly be for me and I’m sure with everyone else. Glad to have been able to work with this tea to help me manage everything, being sure everything was on time, and making sure I never missed a step along the way. My only complaint/frustration was the numbers frequently changed and the appraisal inspection process was ridiculous! Christopher and Jen were great to work with though and I am just thankful to no longer have to pay rent.
