Could not have asked for a better home buying experience, especially as first time buyers. We knew very little about owning a home and even less about buying. We were encouraged to ask all the questions, and got all the answers without judgement. Within 10 minutes of creating a VU account, I was assigned a team of professionals who got to work immediately. Finding my family the perfect home became their priority.
I loved this entire process and I love knowing that veterans are taken care of by such an amazing company. 10 out of 10 isn’t enough for this company. I’d say more like 12 put of 10.

I received my loan approval letter on September 7, 2023. We were not able to close until November 7, 2023. In other words it took two months to close. This is simply unacceptable considering I provided all information in a timely manner and there were no issues with my credit at all. All delays were as a result of Veterans United, their decisions and their Title Company. Half way into the process VU decided they couldn't finance Condos. This call should have been made on the front end not a month into the process. These delays cost me over $6,500 in late closing fees. I have used VU on two other loans and did not have any problems. This is absolutely the worst loan experience I have had in 35 years of buying and selling numerous properties.

But with Veterans United, it was nicely broken down to what felt like such a smooth process. Everybody was in contact with me to answer any questions which can sometimes get difficult with a buyers personal situation. I’m so grateful the process was as easy as it was. The team also sent a little care package for my dogs that they absolutely loved.
