First off my wife and I are thankful to God for this opportunity of buying a home. Even tho the military life is hard for both soldiers and their family, and relocating is a disaster, no matter how you put it. We are privileged to have had the chance to have people like Jon , Becca and McGehee in our home buying experience. Not only did they do their job but they went on and beyong to get us approve, and to make this dream come true. There is no word to express the feelings of gratitude we feel towards this individuals, and VU as a team. I wish sincerely, that all those young adults, veterans and active duty, as well as their respective family, have people like this by their side on this beautiful and tedious journey. Desperation, frustration, anxiety will come, but putting God first will guide you, and put the right people next to you. This was our experience. Coming to the unknown first PCS and first home. If anyone is looking for a team that will not only do their job, but give you that sense that they are doing this as if it was their own home, this is the team you want with you. We are now the new owners of a beautiful one family home in Texas and we Love it. The American dream is still true, and is still there, and this team will help you achieve it. Provided we had a little trouble toward the end with the closing documents, I have to say everything was pretty smooth sailing the whole way through. Everything was easy to understand and having the app made things even less complicated. It was overall a great experience.

As far as the closing, I would've liked the option of a cashier check or a personal check. I was under the impression I could only wire the money and ended up canceling the wire because the seller lived in another state and had a stringent timeline. We waited hours to come to the conclusion of canceling it and going to the bank. Aside from that, working with Veterans United was a good experience. I would do it again.

Thank you for helping me and my fellow service member through the Home buying process. There are many obstacles which were mole hills with help from the veterans united.
My only recommendation would be for Veterans United to not lock the closing disclosure documents on the day of signing. We noticed in the evening of the signing that the documents were locked and we wanted to review them before the signing. Aside from that, all was very good.
I am not given to gushing over people who do their job well. Victoria was great. Thomas worked hard. The Veterans united team got it done efficiently and effectively.
