Smooth and easy process.
Kelly Stephens was patient over the phone and explained what needed to be done when I did not want to upload my docs online to the Veterans United Home Loan site. She then contacted the attorney's office to request a hard copy of the signed closing docs to be sent to me through the US postal service - that were not provided to me at the day of the May 11, 2020 closing (and really should have been - as was done through my experience with other house closings in the past over my 23-yr, 7 mo. military active and civilian career, I had signed 2 copies at same time - one for me and for the other copy to stay for file of seller personnel)….It was a horrible closing experience through a "pandemic" - that was used by the builder attorney office as an excuse not to have any others attend the closing but office admin. and me, so a thank you here to Kelly! A hard copy was finally received at my new address on June 10.....
I have plenty to say! This team is amazing! AJ took it from the beginning and on the way, a few more very professional helpers joined to get me everything I needed! At first. I was like "oh great, another site I have to put all my information in and get scammed or something," but I took the chance and was blown away! Oh, BTW, they have something in place to keep scammers from contacting you during the process! Any questions I had, they had an answer for! Paperwork? A breeze! If anything, I held them back from getting things done faster! This was an incredible journey with this team and once my VA loan is paid off, I hope to do business with them again! And, they sent me a thank you gift as if I was the one that did something for them! Incredible all the way around! I will be using them again!
My Loan Officer Tim Wuest was phenomenal! He was timely, responsive and informative. I cant find enough kind words to say about him. He and his team helped me get through what most would find as a stressful experience with grace and ease. Also, the portal was easy to navigate and nothing ever sat idle in the system. I highly recommend Tim W., specifically and his team. And Veterans United is lucky to have this bunch Kurt France ,and too.
