Overall my experience with veterans United was great. Our loan officer, Dawn was very informative and reliable throughout the process. From start to finish our process was relatively easy and fast paced. Our tasks to get the process done were straightforward and the end result was a home me and my family love. The only thing I would recommend not doing is using veterans United recommended realtors. We were provided one and they never got back to us after two weeks and three calls. The second one provided didn’t seem to be interested in helping us not answering phone calls or questions to the point they didn’t show at closing and told us we couldn’t go which was untrue. Do your research with realtors find one who fits not just one who’s provided. Dawn, Drew, and Blair were Fantastic through the process and I recommend going through them.

Appraisal- was not impressed with person, she was late due to son sick then waited till last possible moment to get her report in and was hard to contact after,
Water test- was last and delayed our closing by 2 weeks.
Structural inspection- an unforseen task.
Over all beside the normal "now we need this" the process went well and the whole team was courteous and responsive.
Not only did VU help me fix my credit, they also helped my wife and I purchase a brand-new home!
