I feel like Veterans United really looked out for me and my best interest. They They insured that every tee was crossed and eyes were dotted. I had to provide a few simple documents and they just took over and did the rest. I would definitely recommend Veterans United.
Very professional and always available to answer my questions.
Veterans United provided the best mortgage experience I have ever had, and I have purchased six homes to date. Veterans United made the process clear and guided me thru each step of the way. I strongly recommend Veterans United to any veteran seeking to use their benefits.
My parents couldn’t never afford to own a house and here I am in my living room. My living room! Growing up in apartments and moving every few year and now I have a house. Stable house that I own. Words can’t describe how good this feel. The team have been awesome and even with the Covid crisis going on they didn’t miss a beat. I want to thank the team that pushed this through so we could close before it cost us more.
My family and I have worked with Veterans United and Leana Winters for the past year and the process has been smooth every step of the way. I would recommend to any looking to transition or purchase a new property.
Great team, very responsive and professional. The team went above and beyond at every step.
My mortgage process was smooth and easy, very little delay. My Refi encountered a very long and tedious issue with the title company and judgements for places I never lived, with names that didn't even match mine. Keep in mind, I just finished an entire mortgage and home sale less than 7 months ago with the same title and mortgage company. It took nearly 2 months to get them resolved, with VU unable to provide any information at all about progress. In the end, we succeeded and it was smooth sailing once the title issue was resolved. Clearly they need better title companies or a team of specialists to review erroneous judgement claims. My "locked in rate" was days away from expiry when they finally closed.I will continue to use VU, but this last round of experiences did put a damper on my enthusiasm.

Experience first-hand why 369,738 homeowners give us a perfect score!
From day 1 to now having our first house everyone i had was very helpful, and answered all my questions. Im definitely someone who worries alot but my team i had kept me calm and reassured everything. Also they made sure everyone was on the same page and went above and beyond to help me with any and everything. I am very grateful .
Everyone has been incredibly helpful and polite, and the whole experience went smoother than butter. I was skeptical about the company at first because they asked for some personal information in order to receive a quote, so I naturally gave some bogus answers just to fill in the required slots. Our loan officer called us, and between him and his team, our minds were put at ease. We went from living on a pretend street called "Nunya Business" to closing on our first home. When my husband's orders were put on hold due to SARS-CoV-2, the company was with us every step of the way to make sure we were doing okay. They knew between the limbo with PCS orders and me still working as a nurse, our family was under a bit of stress (as are most others around the world). They sent our family board games to keep us entertained and connected while we were at home as the world went crazy around us. The entire experience has been great, and the team was with us every single step of the way. Veteran's United even supported our decision to get quotes from other lenders as well. After feeling like "just a number" with NFCU, we stuck with Veteran's United because it felt like we were being taken care of like family. If you're on the fence, don't be. Veteran's United is amazing, and we don't regret our decision even for a second!
Blake, Levi, and the whole team were amazing.
Very helpful quick n extremely reliable
I would recommend to thoroughly research veteran approved home loan companies as much as possible prior to making a decision to use VU.
This was the easiest mortgage process that I have ever gone through. Adam and the team were fantastic.
Overall we were very pleased with the team from Veterans United. This was our second time using them for our home loan needs. They were generally very helpful, friendly and quick to respond.
Our only complaint is that the last week before closing there was much less communication. One of our team members was out of office, and her replacement was far less responsive. When closing day came we felt like we were in the dark on some things. We had a few issues at the closing table - specifically with the title company - and no one was answering the phone. It was quite frustrating. We also didn't know that the money transaction wouldn't take place at the closing table. We had to go into a physical bank. I'm disabled and my mother-in-law has mobility issues. It would have been very helpful to know this ahead of time. Those issues left a bad taste in our mouth, but the overall experience was good and we would use them again.
Tina and her team are the most helpful people and I can’t recommend them enough
I was expecting a better rate.
I’ve completed 3 mortgage loans and just did a VA IRRL and every time it’s been a smooth process. Definitely recommend their services and ask for Chris Hill.
