I very much appreciated the transparency, professionalism the effort by all the individuals who worked on my loan approval process. Also, we received a nice home wall decoration that says 'Home Sweet Home'. TY.
Alexis Benson and Ty Reece were great to work with!
It's been 30 years since I bought a house, and it felt somewhat overwhelming. With that being said, everyone involved, from the real estate agent, to the concierge, to the loan team and legal folks....it was all fairly painless. It was professionally handled. Everyone involved kept my blood pressure in check and kept me very well informed every step of the way!
Honestly, I was very impressed with everyone I spoke with and how they kept me in the loop of what was going on in this process. I feel they went above and beyond their duties. I want to thank you all for your help and answering my questions. You guys are awesomeness! Sincerely, Kathy Baker
My parents couldn’t never afford to own a house and here I am in my living room. My living room! Growing up in apartments and moving every few year and now I have a house. Stable house that I own. Words can’t describe how good this feel. The team have been awesome and even with the Covid crisis going on they didn’t miss a beat. I want to thank the team that pushed this through so we could close before it cost us more.
Everything about our home buying experience with Veterans United was exceptional. It started with Conner who helped us get our credit in order, he spent so much time directing me and talking things through and guided us the whole way. Then Dane, the loan officer who gave us so much insight into the process and was patient with every question. Then Stacy, the real estate agent who helped us find our Dream home AND helped us save thousands by introducing us to the local home insurance people when everybody else wanted to charge us an arm and a leg.. Then Rachel who helped us get through the underwriting process. Then Joedi the home buying concierge who has been so sweet too. We couldn’t have done this without all of you guys and we are so thankful. Y’all have impacted our family in a huge, amazing way. They even sent us a little housewarming gift it was the cutest thing and came with treats for our dogs that somebody remembered we had. 10/10 experience.
Best mortgage refinance experience ever!
Incredibly helpful and got us settled quickly and in a great house.

Everyone has been incredibly helpful and polite, and the whole experience went smoother than butter. I was skeptical about the company at first because they asked for some personal information in order to receive a quote, so I naturally gave some bogus answers just to fill in the required slots. Our loan officer called us, and between him and his team, our minds were put at ease. We went from living on a pretend street called "Nunya Business" to closing on our first home. When my husband's orders were put on hold due to SARS-CoV-2, the company was with us every step of the way to make sure we were doing okay. They knew between the limbo with PCS orders and me still working as a nurse, our family was under a bit of stress (as are most others around the world). They sent our family board games to keep us entertained and connected while we were at home as the world went crazy around us. The entire experience has been great, and the team was with us every single step of the way. Veteran's United even supported our decision to get quotes from other lenders as well. After feeling like "just a number" with NFCU, we stuck with Veteran's United because it felt like we were being taken care of like family. If you're on the fence, don't be. Veteran's United is amazing, and we don't regret our decision even for a second!
My experience with Veterans United during my home purchase was overall very positive. Buying a home is a stressful process, especially when there are a lot of moving pieces like underwriting conditions, documentation, and tight timelines. Throughout the process, the Veterans United team stayed responsive and worked with me to get everything completed so we could close. What stood out most was their ability to guide me step-by-step through a complicated loan process. Whenever additional documents were required or underwriting had questions, the team communicated clearly about what was needed and why. That helped keep things moving forward instead of feeling stuck in the dark. The online system also made submitting documents fairly easy, which helped speed things up during underwriting. Mortgage approvals can be nerve-wracking, but having a structured process and a team that knew the VA loan system made a difference. Veterans United specializes in VA loans and is known for helping military borrowers navigate the process, which shows in how organized their system is. Like any mortgage process, there were moments of waiting and uncertainty, but in the end the team worked hard to make sure everything came together. Closing on a home is a huge milestone, and Veterans United helped make that possible.Overall, I would recommend them to others looking to use a VA loan or needing a lender that understands the VA home-buying process
Jole and the team were outstanding. Every question was answered quickly and there were no surprises. The whole process went smoothly.

Everything was outlined and detailed to us from the start to the very end! Both Chris and Zack answered all of out questions and even answered questions that we hadn't yet thought about!
Montgomery, Bailey and Jesse were all fantastic to work alongside. They were always quick on responding to my questions, no matter the random times that I would message them, and explained everything so well that it was very easy to understand. If I could rate them higher than 10, I would. They made the process so easy for a first time home buyer.
Whenever we have any concerns we Aaron always gives us 100 percent confidence that we are at the right rate at the right time and if it isn't it will be fixed and taken care of flawlessly. A million times thank you for looking out for us we are ever so grateful.
This was the second home I have bought through Veterans United and specifically with Tyson. Both times the team has exceeded my expectations. They regularly check in, throughout the entire process, from searching to signing, to ensure everything is handled or to see if we have any needs.
As with any home purchase there are ups and downs. My loan officer, Mike Peters, was outstanding. People around him though..... I think the biggest gripe I have is rather than a quick phone call that could have sped some of the processes along, they insisted on texts/emails without any phone call at all. Some of these added time to the process and created frustration on my part as I specifically asked for a phone call as I was sick of all the texts. Again though, Mike Peters himself was NOT the one doing this, he always returned calls if he didn't answer himself and worked hard to get me the best deal he could (I shopped for my loan from four different places including a credit union and a local bank).
