Veterans United is an amazing service for anyone using an VA loan. My loan team was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and was able to guide me in the right direction when I knew very little about the home buying process. When I go to buy another home I will be looking to Veterans United again.
Once the actual mortgage process started, communication got confusing. My first loan officer, Heidi Sharp, was extremely helpful with immediate responses to all my questions during the pre-approval stage.Communication with Kayla was less responsive, and my emails to her and Dalton did not always get answered.It was also confusing as to what actions needed to be taken, by whom, at different stages of the process.What would be helpful would be a rough timeline and checklist of who does what, from offer to closing, and who has to send what info and documents to whom.
This team was absolutely phenomenal. I was served my retirement orders with a sub-optimal amount of time to purchase a house, and let me tell you, my team took almost all of the stress out of the experience. It was outstanding. 11/10 would recommend.
