The only issue I had was setting up the POA. Not that it was difficult on my end but there was some confusion at first when I reached out to Veterans United about the home loan. I ask at the very beginning if I would need a POA to do the purchase, I explained that I was deployed at the time. I was told that I would not need one at all. About a month into the process, I was told I now need one, and it was not communicated to me that the POA would need the original document to complete all the signing process. This made for a stressful situation where I had to priority ship the paperwork as quick as possible.
The only other issue that I noticed is that the app would request for specific paperwork, which I would try to provide in a timely manner. Then I would be emailed separately by someone at Veterans United. I found that app quite useful, but it seemed like there was a break in communication between the app and the associated workers.
My team worked tirelessly on our path to closure. We purchased a condo and approving the HOA was a long process. The team was patient and thorough. All of my questions were answered. Working with my team made all the obstacles to closing manageable. We are so happy to have had such an awesome team.

Veterans United and the team they provided helped me become a first time homeowner! Buying a house is a long and stressful process but, the team I worked with relieved a lot of that stress! I felt well taken care of, and that someone was genuinely looking out for me and my investment the entire time.
The only frustration that I had was paying for homeowner inspection, and then finding out later that I have to pay for another inspection for pests. If I would have known that during the first homeowners inspection that would have been covered during the homeowners inspection that cost me an additional $250.
I would like to thank the entire team at Veterans United. When I first applied they worked with me to get my credit up to a qualifying score. I thought it would be 6 months to a year before I could qualify but they got me there in just a couple weeks.The house I found turned out to be a challenging one. Everyone stuck with it and continued to push the process along despite numerous delays. They also worked to get my interest down to a lower point.The team did an amazing job!
