I never thought I would see the day that I would become a homeowner. At this stage of my life and what I have been through with my health and being homeless for a few years, there is no way I saw this dream becoming a reality. When I left Colorado in 2019, I was a broken vase going back home where I grew up to try to glue my self back together. God, my family, West Los Angeles Veterans Medical Center and Veterans United have all provided the necessary glue to piece me back together. As I write this review, I’m sitting in Castle Rock, Colorado enroute to pick up my daughter so she can bring me to my new home in Virginia Beach near her and the rest of my children. I am so grateful and thankful to the Veterans United Home Loans team for making me a proud home owner. This really is a blessing and a dream come true for me and my entire family. Thank you!!!!

Dava was AMAZING! She was very thorough with me when it came to this process and calmed all of my fears. She answered every question, even if repetitive, in a timely fashion. She made sure that I understood everything before we moved forward, and she kept me up to date with everything going on. What I appreciated the MOST was that we went over my budget and discussed what I was comfortable with paying upfront, because she wanted to make sure that I was ok with my monthly payments. I really appreciated that. She always had an upbeat, positive attitude and that helped me to stay upbeat and positive. She was great!
Okay on a real note. The solo cups and cooler bag is the best gift I've ever received ever. I'm saying this trumps any birthday gifts, christmas gifts, etc.

At first we had a horrible time with veterans United. We got a loan officer that wasn’t doing their job and then was paired with a realtor that didn’t care about us. Then we got switched over to Jen who was absolutely fantastic!!! She definitely saved the day and turned us around about veterans United.
Sam and Suzanne were absolutely amazing to work with! They were prompt and kind. I appreciated Sam being patient with me during stressful times during the process. He was so professional and did everything he could to help. Thank you for the top notch experience from start to finish! Suzanne also reached out to help during times in need.
