Overall a great experience working with a team of professionals who worked to alleviate the stress of home purchase.
Derrick was awesome sometimes shifting from your primary loan officer to working with with a loan coordinator. I sometimes notice the responses and prompt emails slow down. This was not the case with Derrick. Further noted, if Derrick did not have an answer he immediately would reach out and find the answer. One thing that I loved about Derrick is that if he didn't have an answer rather than telling me something wrong he said he would get back to me. Sometimes businesses like the placate the customer and just tell them what they want to hear. I was glad that Derrick did not do that.
I am currently talking with some fellow Veterans and I am informing them of Veterans United! As my Home buying experience was fantastic.
My 2 issues this time around are, request all the documents needed at once not 1 seven times a day. The second, find a new Appraiser that will actually complete her work on time in an accurate fashion. In the event an issue comes up, ensure that the customer is called not emailed at the end of the day.

I had to be out of my previous residence by a certain day because my lease was running out. The team made sure my closing went off without a hitch 5 days before that occurred. That allowed me those 5 days to move without rushing around at the last minute. Thanks, team!
