Between the lack of communication, waiting until the last minute to ask for documents and asking to extend multiple times, the seller almost backed out causing us to almost lose the house. Both the sellers and our agent said they had never dealt with a lender so incompetent and difficult to deal with. Do your research, there are way to many lenders out there for it to be this difficult. Don't make the same mistakes we did.

I think if there was one thing to note, it is that we would have benefited from someone guiding us through the process but also informing us of the process and steps necessary for us to be better prepared to provide informed decisions.
