This is the second time I've worked with Veteran's United and Hunter. Hunter made it easy to transfer veteran's benefits to new purchase. If Hunter was out of office, his back up would call to answer any questions. Sam, load coordinator, walked through everything needed to finish ahead of closing date, which resulted in closing a week early this time. Love VU portal and dashboard! Portal made the exchange of information easy. Uploading documents is safe and secure in the portal. Many documents were signed inside the portal which made closing go quickly, as opposed sitting and signing a lot of loan documents at the closing table. It has been two great experiences!

I can 100% tell you I would never go anywhere else. Hank & Richard both worked VERY hard to get my family into a incredible home at the beginning of the 8 month process I didn't believe would have been available. They helped get us approved at a high loan amount and help get closing costs down for us. Very responsive to calls, texts and emails. You could definitely tell they were putting in the effort

The most consistent people on our side were Bert,Tammy and the rest of the team at Veterans United. The whole home buying process is intimidating and we felt that we were in the right hands.
We weren’t really looking to buy a home, but out of curiosity I clicked on an ad or something to “ Find out how much home you can afford “ I filled a form out and was hoping to get an instant quote or something to that effect. Well shortly after Bert called me. On a typical day I would have said “ thanks for calling but we’re all set” and continued on my own googling journey . But for some reason I didn’t that day. Bert’s voice was calming and talking to him felt like we were old friends catching up. Now, I don’t know how old Bert is, but he quickly became my home loan dad. I could ask him anything and he was straight forward with answers, replied promptly and if he didn’t know he certainly found out asap. He walked with us like we were his own family and wouldn’t steer us wrong.
After we got settled into the process along came Tammy. Ho-ley cow. She is amazing!!! She will get it done for you! You need to find that earnest check a realtor lost? Tammy’s got it covered….. found a $14,000 loan you thought for paid off 10 years ago? Tammy will walk you through it…tenants still in the house you’re buying? Tammy!! She will steamroll anyone in the way of you getting your perfect place. Promise!
