While most people complete a transaction and move on Scott took time out of his day to review figures and provide an explanation of some discrepancies. This was not expected and certainly above his required duties.
From the very beginning all the way past closing, this team has made this experience well worth it. I would recommend this service to anyone that is eligible. From the App to the personal phone calls the systems and policies are in place to help and assist. I can’t thank the team I worked with enough as they really made this experience well worth it. Trevor, alisca, and Jennifer are a team made in heaven for home buyers and covered everything my wife and I could have asked. They were always available and were able to walk us through the entire home buying process including transferring utilities, providing local veterinary clinics and schools. 10/10 will recommend and 10/10 will use again if needed.

The entire team I worked with was speedy and transparent. I felt supported and I hope more veterans get to work with the loan team. A particular acknowledgment that I must note is the satisfaction I have with my interactions with my Loan Coordinator (Max Butler). He was not only professional, but easy to talk to. Max stayed on top of everything, and was a fundamental role in moving this process along.

VU was great to work with! At the start of my house hunt it was between VU and USAA. I went with VU because from the very beginning they were very serious about my home buying experience. Skipped the pre-qual and went straight for the pre-approval for the mortgage, no sense shopping on a pre-qual that has no backing to it. Additionally the VU website and app was far more user friendly than other lenders, another deciding factor and huge bonus going through the process, making it very easy to see what is going on. The document submission, to-do list, account and mortgage management all in one convenient location on the app/website was great. Lastly, the customer service provided from my loan team from the beginning, and through the whole process was outstanding. I was never left in the dark, was steadily updated, and every step and everything was explained to me clearly, and all my questions and concerns were answered and eased. I most definitely would use VU again, and will recommend them to family and friends.
