Working with both Jake and Chris was very pleasureable. Both very knowledgeable in their field of expertise and great guidance skills. I would highly recommend both to anyone who is out there looking for a lender for a home whether VA or Conventional. It is imperative for anyone when buying a home whether first time home buyer or someone who has been through the process before to have a great team backing you up and guiding you through the process as laws and interest rates are constantly changing as these two men did. Both Jake and Chris went through a few homes with me both as lender in the process as well as Chris getting the ducks-in-a-row so to speak, as to what I needed to do next, when the process fell through by appraisals coming back lower than the asking price by the seller. They were there for me despite 3 fell through and were just as eager to help when I finally found the one to purchase with their knowledge, expertise, as though this was the first time around for me.If there were a progam wherein such talented people are commended like an Academy Award ceremony, these two men would surely be deserving of the award. Good and talented people who take pride in what they do and it shows, are hard to come-by in this world today. They should be highly commended for their talent, making the process of buying a home effortless.

Veterans United made it easy to get everything done with the to-do list. The Docusign was nice, did not have to go someplace and sign. And they always kept me in the loop and where I stood.
My house closed in less than a month. Veterans United is very punctual, extremely knowledgeable and informative. I felt like they really took almost all of my anxiety away while buying my families home. A team that truly cares.

What I did not like about this process was the impersonal nature of it. I was asked to sign paperwork digitally, not knowing what it meant or what I was signing. Having to talk with someone about the process that actually has experience in these documents would’ve been much more helpful. I also didn’t like that the closing was pushed back two different times due to non-completion on their part. But again communication would’ve been so much more helpful and actually being able to pick up the phone and talk to a closing agent versus everything through text emails. I am not a loan officer, nor a closing agent. I do not have the knowledge of these documents. It would’ve been nice if they could actually explain things and talk to you. So no, I would not use this again, nor would I recommend it.
