Everything was okay, but I’m not happy about the rate lock experience. I never told anyone at VU to go ahead and pull a rate lock. While we are happy with our rate, I’m not happy with the fees that stacked up to keep our rate locked.Would recommend touching base with buyers prior to locking a rate no matter how good.I expressed my dissatisfaction with our experience and nothing was done to make things right.At the very least I think VU should have taken some money off in regards to our rate lock fees as I never gave anyone consent to lock our rate.

Everyone I dealt with starting with Kyle, but including Jaclyn and Julie kept us informed of the progress of my loan and were excellent at explaining what was needed from me during the whole process. I never felt pressured or rushed. This was the 5th time I’ve closed on a home loan and it was by far the easiest and least stressful.
