Veterans United Home Loans is an amazing organization with its principles but also its commitment to helping veterans. Unfortunately there’s a long track record of people taking advantage of veterans, but with Veterans United that was not the case at all. They were determined to help us get our dream home as easily as possible and with the best options we could get. The entire experience and interaction with the team was absolutely amazing. Overall great experience with VU. I loved the MyVeteransUnited interface, which allowed me to easily track required items and progress of my loan. I really enjoyed working with my loan officer and my recommended real estate agent. I was able to close quickly and without much hassle. I would definitely recommend VU!

The inspector was not at all very absurvent. There is a crack in the foundation that goes all the way to the ground. Also the house is leaning towards the creek really bad. When sitting on the toilet the vanity leans towards the shower. Probably drops about 1inch from one side to the other.

Walter Burks - Loan Coordinator- Communication was an issue with him. It seems like he and the loan officer weren’t on the same page most the time. He would email saying he would contact me on a date and fail to contact me on that date. Had me doing unnecessary tasks or the same tasks multiple times.Graham Garber - Insurance Agent- Did the absolute bare minimum, was no help whatsoever. He said the homeowners insurance providers he was able to search would not cover us because of our dog breed. It took several emails to get him to actually answer my question as to what providers he searched. We had called and confirmed earlier that one of those providers would in fact insure us under an umbrella policy to work around breed restrictions. So Graham took our questionnaire data, entered it electronically and when the algorithm kicked it back he didn’t bother to get on the phone and dig deeper to help find a solution to the problem. Basically told us computer says no, so you’re on your own to figure out homeowners insurance. Good luck, let me know when you get it set up. Very poor customer service.
