I have to give a shout-out to my loan officer. Without her dedication to customer service and compassion for her client's circumstances, I may have missed my closing appointment due to the VA Regional Loan Center. The situation was out of the control of Veterans United but Christina saved the day!
Christina Lee did a fantastic job of getting my loan approved. She is an absolute ROCK STAR! The condo association was approved by the VA about noon the day before closing and Christina expedited my file through the final approval. The closing agent had all the documents (in perfect order) by the close of business that same day and I was able to close on time! I was super impressed and excited about how Christina was able to bring this Veteran home! Way to go CHRISTINA!😀👍

I had a conversation with Hannah about how during the underwriting process there was some frustration about the underwriters going after documents they already had. She listened to my frustrations with patience and explained everything that was going on in a professional manner that gave me confidence in her and your company. This was a great team and they were always on top of their game.
The home buying process was quite simple and painless because of the team assisting me. I’d recommend them and veterans United.
I'm a veteran with PTSD, it is very difficult for me to deal with stressful things or even just make phone calls due to anxiety. My team at Veterans United made my experience quite comfortable and extremely manageable. They kept the ball rolling constantly and walked me through the stressful parts. This is the second time I have had to deal with buying a home and honestly I have NEVER heard someone say it wasn't stressful. This was by far the best experience I think i could have with buying a home. Highly recommend VU!
There were a few hiccups, with the amount that I put down for the earnest money, and having to finance my Homeowners Insurance, after I had paid it up for the year after closing. I was told by Craig that it was paid twice. And the last thing was that I found out that my loan was sold off right away to Plaza Mortgage Company and I am no longer going to be making my payments through this Veterans United App! I am sad about that! :(
