The only reason I’m giving a 9 instead of a 10 was the realtor they provided. He just sends houses that don’t have any of the requirements you asked about and even houses you can’t acquire with a VA home loan. The rest of the team was great, responsive, very helpful throughout the entire process.

As a first time home buyer, I didn’t know what to expect. Veterans United was with me every step of the way and in constant communication. Every time I had a question, someone was there to answer it. Honestly it was a very quick and smooth experience!
Ethan has no customer service skills at all. He was not friendly at all. I left 4 messages and he has not returned one call . Not one. Wow is this what he gets paid to do. I am not calling just to play around. I am calling because I have a question regarding my loan. He NEVER called me back and again he has no personality for customer service!!!!!
Overall not a bad experience. The home buying process can be stressful. There’s a lot of people involved and a lot of moving parts, communication gets messed up somewhere along the way. I think communication could be a lot better. Keeping the home buyer informed on what’s going and it’s better to give realistic news that might be unpleasant instead of just wishful thinking and then getting your closed pushed back a couple of times.
Veterans mutual was the only company that would work with my wife and I. Long story short ( my ex wife submarined my credit, wouldn’t get my name off the house and fails to pay on it. All around shitshow) veterans mutual listen to me, understood my situation, and started my home buying experience almost immediately. I am very thankful for everything they have done for my wife and I. Awesome company
I was thoroughly impressed with the way I was treated by my loan officer Evan Oswald and his team as they guided my through the process of home ownership.
