The only ding and the reason it wasn’t a 10 was your underwriters. At one point they almost caused me to completely stop the process and go back to NFCU. Their communication was poor, put me behind the eight ball twice. With both of our credits being 800+ and zero late or missed payments I expected better. In the end it all worked out, but should not have been such a stressful endeavor. If Andrea and Jarrett hadn’t made me feel like they were working so hard to help me, I wouldn’t be recommending VU to anyone, they were your saving graces.
The entire team I worked with helped incredibly with the entire process. They answered all my questions and made home buying as stress-free as possible, especially with being a first time home buyer. Thank you again to all of them.
