Coming into this home buying process knowing very little information about home buying the team at Veterans United was there every step of the way. Even though I’m a over thinker and put so much unnecessary stress on my self for no apparent reason VU really is there for the home buyer and looking back at it they really made this process stress free and I am forever great full

Look, if you're going to buy a home, and you have the option to use a VA Home loan; there is no reason you shouldn't do so. The staff that you get assigned are all dedicated to their work. I was never waiting on them for anything, usually they waited on me! I'm sure you know that isn't something we're all used to but it's something that these guys do and I'll bet they do it better than anyone in the business.

My name is Nick and why wife, Chelsie, and I just bought a house in the Chicago suburbs with the help of Veterans United, mainly with our Loan Specialist, Jerry Simons. Jerry is, honestly, one of the best at his job in the business. He helped us through this process from start to finish and answered any and all questions, concerns, and was honest and knowledgeable. He was up front and courteous and didn’t beat around the bush or try and fluff up things or make something seem better or worse then it was. I was nervous going into this whole process because borrowing hundreds of thousands of dollars, especially during the height of the Covid-19 crisis, was a daunting proposition to my wife and I; however, we were sick of renting. Spending all that money each month and having nothing to show for it was brutal. As a Marine Corps Veteran, I know what hard work and dedication looks like and Jerry, along with his amazing assistant Taylor Fruits, are the embodiment of those attributes. I truly cannot give them enough accolades to equal the job they did. I would highly reccomend any Veteran that wants to own their own home to call up VU and ask for Jerry Simons. I am a real client of VU, I didn’t get any type of gift or discount for writing this review. He did such a great job I felt compelled to let everyone know. I have already given some fellow Vets that were thinking of buying a house his number. I can’t thank Jerry and Taylor enough. If their office wasn’t so far away I would have brought them donuts and coffee each morning for a week we are so happy and grateful! I wish Jerry the best and I write this endorsement without pause or and doubts because I now own a beautiful home in Northern Illlinois.
