Everyone I had contact with at Veterans United was extremely knowledgeable and kept me well informed throughout the home buying prosses. I had a lot of questions. All of them were answered to my satisfaction. and if they didn't know the answer they researched it and gave me the answer in a timely manner. Through the prosses Josh Capron and Sarah Stoll were most helpful. They made me feel like whatever problems or questions I had I could turn to them help! Thank You everyone for a great job!

I want to personally give a huge and heartfelt shout out to Doug Pearson. What an awesome guy to work with! Personable, professional, and proficient. What can I say? The entire team was excellent!
As a first time home buyer I think they could have been a little more informative in the buying process. Ex. Things that come with the house such as things the home owners would be responsible for. Inspections ie what I should be looking for, what most people commonly miss so I am not coming into a house already having to make repairs/replace things. Overall it was a learning experience that taught me valuable lessons in the home buying experience and was not as stressful as originally anticipated.
I have a different perspective than most, because I worked for a number of years in Dept. of Veterans Affairs home loan guaranty. I was in underwriting and processed hundreds of VA loans for Veterans. I have taught VA underwriting guidelines to Lenders. Your underwriter made some mistakes. I know no one wants to hear that, but it should serve as a reminder to follow VA guidelines. The Home loan guaranty program is a great opportunity for Veterans to become homeowners. I am available to discuss this if VU wishes.
For the most part we were happy with the service but what we weren't happy with is that when we were handed off to another loan person, they didn't send the right paperwork to my husband's job and waited until just a few days before closing to let us know if this wasn't done we couldn't close. So at the last second we had to hustle and try and figure it out ourselves and I had to fly from across the country to do this and almost ended up wasting my plane ticket and my time because of them not doing things right or communicating.
Veterans United made the stressful homebuying process easy to understand as well as keeping you informed of everything that is happening at all times. It is a great service and would recommend them to anyone.
I've used Veterans United two by two homes, and each time the process was simple, quick, and painless. Also, I love that they work with you to raise your credit score if it happens to be a bit low. Exceptional service!!!
