Initially I was going to give VU a ten out of ten but, one time when I called Rynda and left a message, she did not return my call that day or the next day. It wasn't until the next day that I called again and still wasn't able to get ahold of anyone so, I was transferred to the supervisor Brad who was very helpful. I was told everyone was in a meeting, which is understandable but, prior to retiring, when I worked and I walked into my office in the morning and saw that I had a missed a call the previous day, I would immediately call that person back.
The thing that really didn't sit well with me is when Rynda sent me a text about the review stating, "we expect a 10 out of 10". Pressuring someone for a 10 out of 10 even slightly or passively is "unprofessional" in my opinion. Soliciting a review should be enough without the pressure of receiving a perfect score. She probably didn't mean anything negative or offense when requesting a perfect score but, that maybe an inherent problem with communicating via text instead of verbally.
Nevertheless, my experience with VU was excellent, just not perfect.

Veterans United was an awesome experience. If you are a first time homebuyer this is the way to go. If you are lucky enough to get Katie and her team as your lendors your worries are over. Just sit back and give them all the required documents and they will take care of the rest. Awesome Awesome job by each and everyone on her team.
