As a veteran family, we truly appreciate the work and effort that VU has provided!

I understand the home-buying process is long and strenuous. That being said, we had a 90-day contract to close. Why were we waiting till the very last moment to collect the paperwork? If this was a 45-day close, we would not have made it. The whole idea of a 90-day close was to be finished with the loan process so my wife and I could get married without having to deal with the stresses of gathering paperwork. Yet this process was pushed off till the very end. Overall, I am very happy with Allie and the process. But she is the only reason why I didn't leave Veterans United.
Thanks,
Clayton L

Brian and Danielle (and the rest of the team that I did not get the pleasure to speak with directly) were so great! The whole process was so easy, and they made sure I understood everything along the way. As a first-time home buyer, I was pretty nervous that it was going to be a difficult and confusing process.

I was happy with loan terms.
The entire team was very attentive to my questions and concerns.
We closed on time and both parties were very happy.
The seller also was a pleasure to work with.

The issue that I had throughout the process was Clint's assistant Brandon. He never treated me bad, however, I did not like his attitude when it came to closing. It was delayed an hour or so because it had not been funded for documentation that had been sent to him two week or so prior to closing. Also, when the real estate called him to asked about funding at closing, he disclosed to Brandon that all parties were present and the real estate agent asked if he had looked over the pictures and receipts. He said that he just got to work. and the agent informed him that closing would be at 10am eastern time and Brandon stated that is not when he gets to work and that he just got in and he has to get settled and he would take a look, and he said it disrespectful. The real estate agent had to get a supervisor involved and then we had to do some more paperwork to ensure the loan was funded. I feel like this all could have been avoided, and the extended time was unnecessary. Clear to close in my mind is that everything is ready to go. Overall, this was a great experience and I would not trade it for anything. The staff from the beginning was great. Great customer service, great support, and they were on top of the game. I have purchased four homes and hands down this was the best experience ever. Jason and Clint superseded them all. Thank you all for your support. Brandon also did a great job ensuring that I received things in a timely manner, he just seems cutthroat at time. Again, thank you all for a great experience and helping to get a great home. Best Regards.

I couldn’t have had a better team to work with!!! Greg, Madeline and Britney were all amazing. I could not have navigated this purchase without them. They were there for me every step of the way with encouragement, instruction and hand holding that I required for my home purchase. I cannot begin to thank them enough for everything they did!! They truly are THE BEST!!!

To Mike and his team, it has been said that one of the reasons people don't write thank you notes more often (among other things) is that they don't feel they can find the right words to express their appreciation. I just don't know where to begin, but I guess I can start with a thank you. Thank you for all the hard work and dedication. We are beyond appreciative for your excellent professionalism involving the entire process of obtaining a mortgage on our new home. You made things go smoothly and eased my fears when I had doubts. I'll sure try to recommend my fellow vets who are shopping for homes. It has been a pleasure to work with such knowledgable and dedicated professionals. You guys rock! Sincerely, Subrina Persaud and Chris Figat.

Nothing more to add at this time other than, if the team that I worked with shows the level of professionalism and values the company holds, then I feel that Veterans United is a great company.
