Once my score was high enough to get preapproved, I was in a house within 60 days for less than $2500 out of pocket.If you are at least 10% Service connected, the VA funding fee, which is usually about 2% is waved.Negotiate having the seller pay closing costs, pest inspection, and the land survey.The VA will pay you $750 to cover the VA appraisal, which is only about $600.You can get into a house for less than you may think.
