Searching for a new home took over a year. It took a local real estate agent to find one for us.
John Mowrey and the team made it extremely easy my first time buying a home. All of my questions were answered and they were very knowledgeable and timely.
I'm not easily impressed; I was impressed with VU. I've personally purchased several properties requiring mortgages as well as working with mortgage companies with my real estate clients (I was a realtor) over the years. VU superseded all those companies with their excellent customer service. I would recommend any veteran looking to buy property contact VU. They even have resources in place to help those with the desire to purchase, but aren't quite ready yet, due to credit issues. You can expect to experience a smooth transaction. VU is the best.
