Overall it was a good experience. I was disappointed with Amanda at closing because we were told a closing cost and then told another. When we asked Amanda she got defensive and suddenly acted like she did not know what had happened. We had documentation of the error and Amanda continued to alibi. She even said she would check in with us prior to closing. We never heard back from her and our calls went unanswered and not returned. It seems VU got their money a ran…typical banking practices I suppose. Amanda needs some additional customer service training and accept responsibility.
I am so glad I decided to go with Veterans United because I really don't think I would have had the same level of dedication and professionalism I had with you and your team. I truly want to thank you for everything you did for my wife and I during our home-buying process. I can tell you it was a bit stressful, but you were always there for us.
