No down payment was the reason we chose to go the VA Loan route. Just be ready to deal with some nit picky VA requirements. That is not Veterans United's fault, the VA just does things in a government way.....Veterans United really does have a team ready to assist. They had someone available and helping through every step. The Veterans United folks were always so pleasant and helpful. We didn't have any surprises at the end because they kept us in the loop with the financial requirements. We would use them again in the future. Buying a home is incredibly stressful, but I feel like Veterans United really did everything they could to ease that. Also, we loved the realtor they recommended for us.

Overall I gave an 7, due to the appraisal was slow to happen, longer than normal.
Otherwise I would have said an 9, because there’s always room for improvement.
Everything was smooth not one issues it’s so easy everything done on ur phone or computer they make it so easy for u to download documents or whatever u have to do it’s get using the technology that we have these days
VU has been beyond amazing! They made my 1st home buying experience painless. After hearing some stories from friends and family about home buying we were a little nervous. The entire team VU assigned me was fantastic!!! I consistently knew where we wear at in the process. Members of my team were always available to answer questions or concerns I had. Searched for ways to ensure I got best rates possible as well as ensured I had all information for setting up my forever retirement home.

Overall a great company to go with when buying a home. There are some not so good reviews out there that got us a bit nervous. We had some obstacles to overcome in order to get our loan but if you get them the documents they need in a timely manner you will be fine. Be upfront and honest about everything and they will get you to the finish line if there is a way. We are extremely happy we went with Veterans United.
Andy and Donna had the communication on point! This is our 2 round through Veterans United and this time was better because communication was improved. We were kept in the loop of next steps and expectations for all parties involved. Seamless process!
