I've exclusively used veterans united for more than 5 transactions. Go to service!
It was a team effort and I greatly appreciate everything my Veterans United team did for me. I couldnt be more happy in my new house!!
The BEST experience I have had with any financing effort in 75 years. The people were excellent, the service superb, and the results finalized quick and efficient. Never left my house from start to finish, accomplished everything required sitting in my old chair watching TV except for the final signing which was done in my kitchen with the lady who came to my home for the task. Overall a wonderful undertaking by all concerned. Thanks and gratitude all around especially to Spencer Wesson for all the attention to details.
For 2 and a half years I’ve been working with Tyson Smith, and after I went under contract the rest of the team came in to work the home stretch. Joedi made sure I have information I needed to get home life set up before even closing. Kayla was good to work with as well. She made sure I had the paperwork I needed to get signed and back. There is a thank you for all the behind the scenes work and those people. Last is my realtor in Wichita, thank you to Catalina. Tyson and Catalina is who I worked with most, y'all deserve special thank you because you were extra patient and allowed me to build trust which is no easy task. Thanks to the team behind the scenes as well
While we are thankful to have secured our home loan, the experience with Veterans United left much to be desired. As first-time buyers, we relied on them for guidance, but instead felt like we were pushed through an impersonal machine on autopilot. Communication was practically non-existent. We received no education on the process, no heads-up on next steps, and at one point, our entire loan team went MIA for days with zero notice. We only found out they were out of town after reaching out to a company operator to ask why our calls and messages were going unanswered.
That delay directly impacted us and nearly cost us thousands in interest rate increases over the life of our loan. To their credit, they did make it right financially after we confronted them about the lack of support and potential loss, but that level of oversight should never have happened. Even our real estate agent—who has decades of experience—stated they were the worst lender she has ever worked with. Buyers should also be aware that despite their name, they are a private lender and are not endorsed by or affiliated with the VA. We got our home, but the process was unnecessarily stressful and poorly managed.
Awesome Team
We can't say enough good things about Veterans United! They were fantastic all through the pre-approval to the closing process. And their reps were easy to get in touch with and explained everything to us in an easy-to-understand way. We can't imagine what our mortgage experience would have been like if we had not been with Veterans United.
The team I worked with was awesome. Any questions I had they answered in a timely manner. I would recommend Veterans United, they sure helped me with my finacial situation.
Bryan Walther helped us through every detail of getting our new home in Orlando. Thank you! God bless!
