The Appraiser and most things surrounding my appraisal was unsatisfactory. I had to pay the appraiser another $150 for a 3 min re-inspection and he was late with no remorse. He also went to the back yard (through dirty) to inspect the stairs and siding and then walked on my newly installed carpet to verify it was replaced as required, tracking dirt onto it.Outside of those 2 issues. My experience was great.
VU makes the VA loan process very easy and smoothly. One thing that you can do is to have all of your paperwork together and send it back to VU as fast as you can. There process is very streamlined and very easy to follow along with.One thing that they didn't have on my first loan and they have now is the Concierge Service. That was a great idea and they help you with the non loan activities. They will help you search for home owners insurance, cable TV, Internet, etc.I can not say enough good things. VU has been good to me and my family and if there was a hiccup they made it seem as if there was no issue(s).Great company to work with!!!

If you are a veteran and looking for a home, this company will be your best bet They will assign a realtor to you and if, as in my case, they switched realtors 3 times to finally get the right fit for me. Third time was a charm and i have a new home. I could not be more pleased!
