Although the process of purchasing our first home during this pandemic was a bit stressful at times, everyone involved with assisting my husband and I was awesome. Each person on the team was exceptionally patient, informative, and professional, making our experience as smooth as it could be.
The VU team was professional, courteous and responsive. I sincerely appreciated all the “behind the scene” work by Rachel. She followed up and handled all of the inevitable kinks that go with refinancing! I can’t say enough about the great experience I had with VU. Great job by the whole VU team!

Veterans United was both professional and proficient. They kept us informed and updated on our status. Our loan officer helped us get our credit score where we needed it to be to purchase our new property 😀. I will definitely be using them again for our next property buying needs.

We were honestly disappointed with our experience with Veteran's United this time around. The communication was poor from beginning to end and we were often left to guess what the next steps were and often had to ask what was needed from us as our loan officer didn't seem to know. This is very different than our last experience with VU but has ensured that we will not be using them again for loans in the future. Additionally, as soon as the loan closed and we got everything set up for payments, our loan was sold to another provider which left us to start over again on that process. Frustrating from beginning to end. The only shining star was the realtor that was recommended who was amazing.

Be upfront with people...I was suspicious of unexplained requirements and came very close to canceling the process entirely. You expect honesty...be honest and transparent.
