When I first started this process, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Our initial Contact was with your Credit Specialist, Brett Peters. ( i believe this is correct). He was instrumental in guiding me through improving my wife's credit scores. Then we were turned over to Daren and his staff. From my point of view, this could not have gone smoother. Even though this has been an activity that began in March, we are now in our new home. We couldn't be happier with everyone we worked with to get us here. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Veterans United is a large organization with a lot of resources but very poor cooperate practices. The overall failure to communicate between the loan team and underwriting team nearly caused my family to lose the contract on our house 24 hours before closing. My realtor told me if I ever use this company again he would not represent me, and I agree. Veterans are better off working with a local bank that cares about people and their homes, who will treat you like a person rather than a number.

I've had a lot of friends that have recently bought a home with other companies and I've heard horror stories from them about getting a home loan. My experience has been nothing but amazing! Veterans United made so many thing easier to do and had great online tools to manage the loan and paperwork. My loan team was very friendly and responded quick to everything I needed.
