We had a bit of a hiccup at the closing. I did not receive the email of final documents until after I was already at the closing; therefore, the closing officer could not release the funds to the sellers until I rushed back home to execute the digital signatures that were required. Moreover, we later discovered an error in the instructions I had received regarding who should be the recipient of cashier's check for closing costs. Therefore, I had to also go back to the bank and have another cashier's check made out to the closing agent. So the final phase of the process became a bit hectic and confusing, but otherwise the process that Steven was overseeing worked very well. And I am very appreciative of his assistance throughout the process.
Would absolutely recommend any military veteran to use Veterans United for their VA home loan experience!

Would have been nice to know that we had a closing cost. Or that we could of had it rolled into our payment. Hard for us to come up with a lump sum of cash , when you are on a fixed income from disability. Being a VA loan specialist would lead to believe that this is a reality more than not.

I know how difficult it is trying to pick the right lender for your home loan. At the end of day, I think we all want the bank that will make the home buying process as easy as possible, while also saving us the most amount of money. I am so thankful I chose Veterans United as my lender because I truly believe they fulfilled both of those requirements. I would not steer my fellow veterans wrong. When you're in the pre-approval process, do yourself a favor, and at least make Veterans United one of the banks you consider choosing.
