I would highly recommend working with Veterans United if you are a veteran serious about becoming a homeowner. I worked personally with Kayla and Dustin and together they are a dynamic team. From prequalification to closing they navigated me in the right direction every time. From prequalification to closing it took less time than what I expected. Their professionalism is outstanding. I would recommend working with Veterans United.

I wouldn't use VU again. Worst experience by far out of three VA loans and cost me the most money up front by a long shot. Felt like a criminal through it all. It was easier to get my secret government clearance than close with VU with an over 800 credit score and no debt besides one car loan and a tiny debt to income ratio. Anyone without a high credit score I feel would be doomed from the start.Also didn't appreciate that the day after I applied I started receiving 5-7 calls every day from telemarketers that has calmed to 2-3 after over two months. But I used to get 1-2 a week. VU sells personal data for financial gain.

I will definitely use Veterans United again when it’s time to buy my forever home. The home buying process is notoriously stressful, but VU made it seamless and took away so much stress. I especially loved how available my loan specialist and his team were any time I had a question. They were just a text or email away and I never had to wait long for a response which was great. Another perk was the online account that keeps you updated throughout the process. Uploading documents and reading/signing forms was so easy and allowed me to keep track of what I needed to do next.
