As a first time home buyer with unpleasant experiences with previous mortgage companies, Veterans United was like a breath of fresh air. From start to finish, your team members (yes, a whole team is put in place for your application process) are in contact with you at least once every week to two weeks. This begins at pre-approval and continues through closing. They update you on your status along the way and even just call to check how you're doing while looking for a home to purchase. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Other lenders are impersonal with annoying sales calls, ridiculous hold times and terrible customer service. I will only deal with Veterans United for now on.
