I had a very positive home buying experience with Veterans United. I would recommend them highly.
We saw that the loan rates had dropped substantially six months after we were approved for our original loan. After discussing some options with other loan companies, I called Veteran's United and was pleasantly suprised that they matched the rated given by another company.
The only problem that we encountered was that mail was sent to the wrong address, even after filling out paperwork regarding this more than once. Hopefully, it is now resolved.
Even though Covid-19 was present the Team and the Killeen office and those involved helped me out every step of the way. Even when my Realtor was trying to be shady Danny and the Team did not play the game and contacted me first to keep me informed. Saved me lots of money from not falling into my realtors slippery snake like tactics! Also thank the Austin Office too they also contacted me a lot and when I needed something done they came thru 100% of the time.

Veterans united is the best. Being a first time homeowner, they made sure I could get my max preapproval so that I could close on a new house. They will connect you with an agent, whom you will be able to ask any questions. You will get more knowledgeable as time goes on. There are helpful videos you can watch as you progress to getting close to closing day on your house. When in doubt, give them a call and they will be to your rescue!
