Your VA loan benefit is one of the most powerful tools you have earned from serving your nation. We are a retired Marine Corps family, and this is the first time we have used a VA loan, even though we had purchased a few homes in the past through our many duty stations. Veterans United made the process from pre-approval through underwriting and closing a seemless and organized process.
I would be remiss if I did not mention Aron Cowsert and Ashley Newton and the service they provided my family. On behalf of Ashley I believe her proper title is Loan coordinator and she was all of that and more. My wife felt comfort and compassion having someone she could call up in seconds to have questions answered and not be pushed along to a full voicemail box which was our experience for weeks prior to reaching out to Veterans United. She was incredibly nice and helpful never once showing anything but a positive attitude and complete professionalism.As for Aron I would not be at this point nor have bought a house if it were not for him and his expertise. I was almost certain this process would be dead in the water with regards to certain problems that arose early, I was sure we would never purchase this house. Got a really good rate, we where able to close in about a month. Unfortunately lender wasn’t available much after working hours so we where left waiting to
Finish simple tasks. There was things missed on our paperwork that would have cost us more money at closing. They don’t work with your realtor so you will be a middle man.

A few hiccups at the beginning, only because I wanted to move to a mountain range and not a specific county. Once we were placed in contact with multiple agents we were able to find the house that we wanted.
Be prepared for unforeseen costs at the very end. Make sure you have extra money on hand to make it to the closing table.
